Kona Choral Society: bringing to the community choral music from masterworks to local traditions

The Kona Choral Society is a dynamic chorus of mixed voices (SATB) formed without the requirement of audition. It is community based, encompassing a major portion of West Hawai‘i. Singers rehearse weekly and prepare concerts in two major Seasons: Christmas and Spring, sometimes in partnership with guest artists and orchestral groups.  KCS is registered as a 501C(3) organization.  It was founded in September, 1990.

Aloha! If you are visiting Hawai‘i or are interested in joining Kona Choral Society, please feel free to join us! Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at Kona United Methodist Church. We look forward to singing with you this choral season!
