Sing in the Spring!
Artistic Director Susan McCreary Duprey and the Kona Choral Society welcomes sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses to their “sit in and sing” OPEN HOUSE rehearsal on Thursday, January 19, 5:00 – 7:30 PM, at Kona United Methodist Church.
No audition required.
WHO: The Kona Choral Society; Susan McCreary Duprey, Artistic Director; Gloria Juan, Accompanist. The chorus performs ethnic, traditional, and master choral works. Music for the 2022-2023 choral season includes works by Chris Fraley (a KCS singer), Dan Forrest, John McCreary, Jace Saplan, Antonio Vivaldi, Eric Whitacre, and more!
WHAT: Come and hear what the Kona Choral Society is all about at their “sit in and sing” Open House Rehearsal where repertoire for the spring season will be previewed. No audition required.
WHERE: Rehearsals take place at Kona United Methodist Church 74-4960 Palani Rd., Kailua-Kona HI 96740
WHEN: Rehearsals on Thursday nights, 5:15-7:30 PM (the first “OPEN HOUSE” rehearsal on January 19th will begin at 5:00 PM for music pick-up and registration).
