“A Musical Journey: from Fauré, to Maori, to Hawaiian”. There is a little something for everyone at this concert! The featured work is Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, but the program also includes a Maori song called “Kia Hora Te Marino,” several Hawaiian numbers including “Palehua,” “Keawaiki,” and “Kona Kai ʻŌpua,” and a reprise of two songs from our Black History month concert back in February.
