Susan Duprey and many of our KCS singers gathered to participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. celebration held on Sunday January 15th at the Old Airport Pavilion. It was exciting to see KCS pictured in this West Hawaii Today feature about the concert right there on the front page of the paper! KCS was happy to participate and share some African American Spirituals and Gospel pieces. It provided a wonderful chance to give a sort of preview for our upcoming concert “Guide My Feet: A Celebration of African-American Gospel and Spirituals” on February 10th. It will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church from 7:00–8:00pm. It’s a FREE concert, so bring the whole family for this exciting event!
