The Kona Choral Society welcomes all interested singers to their OPEN HOUSE rehearsal on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Kealakehe Intermediate School Band Room

WHO: The Kona Choral Society; Susan McCreary Duprey, Artistic Director; Gloria Juan, Accompanist.  KCS:  bringing to the community choral music from masterworks to local traditions. This season we are excited to bring you Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living.

WHAT: The Kona Choral Society welcomes all interested singers to their OPEN HOUSE rehearsal on Wednesday, January 25th, at 5:30PM.

WHERE:  Rehearsals take place at Kealakehe Intermediate School Band Room.

WHEN: Rehearsals on Wednesday nights, February 1 – March 8, 5:30-7:30 PM,
March 15 – May 10, 6:00-8:00 PM (the first “OPEN HOUSE” rehearsal will begin at 5:30PM for music pick-up and registration).

WHO WE ARE: The Kona Choral Society is a dynamic, non-auditioned chorus of mixed voices (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass).  It is community based, encompassing singers from different backgrounds, ages, and vocal experience.  Singers rehearse weekly and prepare concerts in two major Seasons: Christmas and Spring, either alone or in partnership with guest artists and orchestral groups.  KCS is registered as a 501C(3) organization.  It was founded in September, 1990.
