WHO: The 100-voice Kona Choral Society; Susan McCreary Duprey, Artistic Director; Gloria Juan, Accompanist.
The chorus performs ethnic, traditional, and master choral works.
WHAT: Come and see what the Kona Choral Society is all about at our Open House Rehearsal. Learn why singing is good for your health! We will also preview repertoire for the fall season. Song selections will include music by Eric Whitacre, Michael W. Smith, Dan Forrest, movements from Handel’s Messiah and many more!
No audition required.
WHERE: Rehearsals take place at Kealakehe Intermediate School Band Room, 74-5062 Onipaa St, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
WHEN: Rehearsals on Wednesday nights, 6:00-8:00 PM (the first “OPEN HOUSE” rehearsal on September 5th will begin at 5:30PM for music pick-up and registration)
